Bryant Totally Modulating 97% AFUE gas furnace
The newest gas furnace from Bryant delivers high efficiency performance and superior comfort so you can save money on your monthly energy bills and be comfortable at the same time.
Features of Bryant’s new 97% modulating gas furnace
- Ultra-high energy efficiency
- Minimizes temperature “swings”
- Improved comfort with Perfect Humidity technology
- Precise, low-noise operation
The fully modulating system means the furnace operates on low-stage heating most of the time for precise, even temperature control with high-stage operation providing a boost when the weather turns frigid.
The Evolution 987M gas furnace raises the bar for temperature control and dehumidification capabilities with Bryant’s Perfect Heat and Perfect Humidity technologies.
Perfect Heat technology monitors changing conditions and adjusts system operation to provide the best possible combination of comfort and energy efficiency.
Air conditioning units or heat pumps may also qualify
It’s not just high efficiency gas furnaces that qualify. Upgrading or installing an air conditioning unit or heat pump to your existing system may also qualify you for tax credits and rebates. Contact Ben’s Heating or Air Conditioning to talk to one of our experts for an estimate and to hear more details.
What is AFUE?
It’s short for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. The AFUE number tells you how efficiently a furnace converts fuel to energy so the higher the percentage, the more energy efficient the furnace. If you install a 95% AFUE-rated furnace in your home, 95 cents out of every dollar spent goes towards heating your home.
What is SEER?
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and measures cooling output to electrical consumption over a range of temperatures. It’s easiest to think of it like gas mileage on a car. The higher the SEER number on a heat pump or air conditioning unit, the more energy efficient it is and the less it’ll cost to operate, which saves you money.
What is Energy Star?
Energy Star is a government-sponsored program set up to help businesses and homeowners by giving them the information they need to make smart choices about buying energy efficient products. Look for the Energy Star label to spot equipment with high-efficiency performance.
Energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment, like Energy Star-rated gas furnaces, heat pumps and air conditioning units help the environment by optimizing energy use and reducing your home’s carbon footprint.
